The Vanarama National League have confirmed the key dates for the coming season, Salisbury’s first in the National League South.
Salisbury FC and all the other clubs in the Vanarama National Leagues will learn their fixtures on Wednesday, 10th July. It’s the big pre-season date as fans begin planning their away trips and spotting where those exciting home fixtures will happen.
The campaign kicks off on Saturday, 10th August, and the Vanarama National League South will conclude on Saturday, 26th April.
Festive and Easter are popular amongst supporters, and this season will be no different. The games are scheduled for Saturday, December 21st, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1st), and then Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Teams that meet on Boxing Day will then meet again on Good Friday and the same with New Year's Day and Easter Monday.
This comes after a survey of clubs, the National League Board made the change from the Boxing Day and New Year’s Day fixtures being reversed, which is what has happened in the past.
Clubs can switch their New Year’s Day fixture to New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, 31st December) if they mutually agree to do so.
