Salisbury City Council confirm Christmas 'Gift Fayre'

In partnership with Mynt Image Ltd, Salisbury City Council is launching a brand-new Gift Fayre in Salisbury’s Guildhall Square this year.

As part of Christmas on the Square in 2024, visitors to Salisbury can expect a unique shopping experience in the form of a giant, fully festive chalet featuring an array of over 30 incredible local craftspeople offering artisan products that will make the perfect gifts for loved ones this Christmas.

The Gift Fayre will be the perfect place to soak up a magical festive atmosphere where visitors can support local makers under shelter, protecting them from the wintery elements.

There will also be lots of other Christmas activities taking place, so as the months draw closer, more details will be released.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the Fayre every day from Friday, 22nd November, until Thursday, 19th December 2024.

Cllr Sam Charleston, who is Chair of the Events, Markets and Grants Sub-Committee, said, "The Gift Fayre will be a fantastic new addition to Christmas on the Square this year, and I am looking forward to picking up some Christmas gifts whilst supporting our city's amazing local makers.
