The Salisbury Charter Fair is set to return on Sunday 20th October until Wednesday 23rd October transforming Salisbury Market Place into a vibrant hub of fun and excitement for all ages.
The fair will be open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The official opening of Salisbury Charter Fair on Sunday 20 October will start with a traditional civic parade from the Guildhall to the twister ride, followed by speeches and a special blessing of the fair, marking the start of four days of thrilling entertainment and community celebration.
The Charter Fair will feature an exciting mix of attractions, including fairground classics such as the carousel, dodgems and waltzer. For thrill-seekers, the return of ‘Oxygen’ will bring adrenaline-pumping excitement alongside various other exhilarating rides. The fair will also offer a range of family-friendly rides and stalls, with pricing for children’s rides set at just £2.50 before 6 pm.

Dating back to 1227, when King Henry III granted a charter to the Bishop of Salisbury to hold a fair on the third Monday in October, the event remains a treasured annual tradition, with its lively atmosphere and diverse array of food and games providing entertainment for all ages in the heart of the city.
