Salisbury FC have announced the signing of midfielder Josh Keeya ahead of the new season in the National League South.
Keeya, 21, spent last season with Hampton and Richmond, playing against the Whites in both Hampton’s 1-0 home win early in the season and Salisbury’s home win towards the end of the season.
In total, the midfielder clocked up over 3,200 league minutes for the Beavers last season as they finished 18th and five points above Salisbury.
Before signing with Hampton and Richmond in May 2024, Keeya spent time with Badshot Lea in the Isthmian League South Central and Enfield Town, then in the Isthmian Premier League. He began his footballing career with the Met Police academy.
Brian Dutton was once again pleased to bring in another of his targets, “I’m delighted to sign Josh, he is a player we’ve tracked since I joined Salisbury. He is young, dynamic and has a high ceiling.
“We look forward to working with him and watching him develop. I’m sure the Salisbury fans will enjoy his performances this season. He is an all-rounder in central midfield who now needs to take the next step and add goals and assists to his game to become the full package.”
