Calling all local Landlords, city boozers and Salisbury watering holes! Here’s your last chance to sign up to host Salisbury’s Biggest Quiz Ever.
On Sunday 3rd October, The Biggest Quiz Ever will take over multiple venues across the city to raise vital funds for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Teams will simultaneously play the same quiz to be in with the chance of winning a £250 cash prize.
It’s £3 per player to enter the quiz and teams can have up to 6 quizzers. Players can even pick their favourite boozer across the city to play the quiz at, with the following participating venues already signed up:
Deacons, Fisherton Street
Devizes Inn, Devizes Road
Royal George, Bedwin Street
The Winchester Gate, Rampart Road
Horse and Groom, Wilton Road
Bell & Crown, Catherine Street
Salisbury FC in the Blue Bee Bar, The Raymond McEnhill Stadium (Old Sarum)
Pheasant Inn, Salt Lane
Avon Brewery, Castle Street
Is your pub on the list?
The quiz is being run by the community project team at mySalisbury in collaboration with Salisbury Radio, and we are really pleased to announce we are now being supported by All the Sevens.
Andy Munns from mySalisbury said, “We’re really pleased that so many local venues are supporting the quiz. It would be great to have a couple more so we can confidently claim to be the biggest pub quiz Salisbury has ever seen".
To host Salisbury’s Biggest Quiz Ever you will need to be able to play Salisbury Radio via the Internet throughout your venue speakers so everyone is able to hear it clearly.
Venues will be supported with a quiz 'host' who will be in attendance during the event to collect team fees and scores and report them back to HQ. You will also be provided with some sexy Biggest Quiz Ever beer mats and posters.
The deadline for signing up is 5pm on Friday 24th September, click here to get involved.
