Police have issued an update after a body was found in the River Avon on Friday (25th February 2022).
The police were called to the River Avon behind Waitrose after reports of a body in the river.
Officers attended the scene and confirmed the person was deceased.
The police now believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, however, their enquiries remain ongoing.
"Anyone with information should call 101 and quote log number 208 of February 25," said a spokesperson.
