The Salisbury Radio Pink Panthers are gathering this coming Sunday at Salisbury Racecourse.
The venue's second family Fun Day will see our promotional team add a little more colour to this popular local event.
With the weather forecast suggesting it’ll be 22 degrees and sunny, Head Panther Sam Alford is looking forward to a return visit, “We had a blast last month and met so many wonderful people who were enjoying all the events and activities for younger visitors.
“Gates open at midday on Sunday for this beach-themed event and along with Disco Dion we’re providing some extra entertainment in the Sarum Enclosure, where families are welcome to bring their own picnic and all the children’s activities are free.”
Young racegoers can enjoy a host of beach-inspired activities, from funfair rides and arts and crafts to lively entertainment that will keep the whole family smiling.
The first race is at 2.14pm and the last at 5.32pm. Accompanied children aged under 17 and under get in free to all Salisbury race days.
A Wheelers Bus has been booked for midday and 1.00pm to leave Salisbury Railway Station to come up to the course. The bus will then return after racing at approximately 5.50pm.
Our prowl of Salisbury Radio Pink Panthers will be seeking people to talk to on the radio, while getting their hands on some Salisbury Radio goodies.
