New Keeper Signs on at Salisbury Ahead of First Pre-Season Friendly

Salisbury FC have announced the permanent signing of shot-stopper Will Henry after his departure from Chippenham Town.

The 27-year-old joins after five successive seasons at Wiltshire rivals Chippenham Town, amassing over 220+ appearances for the Bluebirds.

Will began his early career on the books at Swindon Town before completing short-loan moves up and down the English pyramid for Dunstable, Hampton & Richmond, Swindon Supermarine, Chippenham Town and Gloucester.

Will becomes the eighth permanent signing of the summer and will be available for the club's first pre-season game against Amesbury Town this Saturday (4th July).

So far this summer, Salisbury has made the following signings:

Those players join Mo Dabre, Nathan Odonkonyero, Josh Hedges, Evander Grubb and captain Josh Sommerton, who remain from last season.

Pre-season gets underway with the away trip to Amesbury Town's Bonymead Park, where the thirteen signed-on players, plus some trialists, will start preparations for the new season.

Brian Dutton and his management team will be casting an eye over potential signings who are on trial, as well as their new signings, and working on plans for the new campaign.

Kick-off is at 3 pm at Bonymead Park, with tickets just £5 and under-12s free.

*Both Morgan and McIntyre spent time at the Ray Mac on loan last season.
