An outdoor event packed with music, fun, and community spirit is set to take place on Saturday, 26th July at Laverstock & Ford Sports Ground, all in support of the Stars Appeal, raising vital funds for the two breast cancer units at Salisbury District Hospital.
Organised by Brian and Sue Munday of BSM Stage Tec and a dedicated team of volunteers, this fundraising extravaganza promises something for everyone. Featuring six of Salisbury’s top live music acts, plus a headline set from one of the UK’s finest 80’s cover bands, the day is sure to get you dancing.
We are told to expect high-energy performances throughout the day and evening from Fired Up – Rock the 80’s, as well as local acts Kinki, Lump, Slingshot, Evolution Choir, Sock Puppet Jukebox and Park Island, all within a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere. Kids can enjoy bouncy castles, a scavenger hunt, and other interactive activities, while adults relax and enjoy the live music and delicious food.

Food vendors include local favourites HAS Kebabs, Soulful Bowl, and Hidden Jem Coffee & Cake, offering tasty options to fuel your day of fun, with more to be confirmed before the event. Additionally, the Laverstock & Ford Club will provide an indoor bar. Plus, there’ll be plenty of other fundraising activities and entertainment to keep everyone smiling.
The event will be hosted by Alex and Ellen Morgan-Wardrop from Radio Odstock’s Sounds of Salisbury show.
