A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital via Air Ambulance following a collision with a car.
The incident happened at around 11:20 this morning (Tuesday, 18th July) when the motorbike collided with a car on the A36 near Stapleford.
Police are appealing for witnesses and released a short statement, "A man has been taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries.
"His next of kin have been informed.
"Road closures remain in place while the vehicles are recovered, and investigations are carried out.
