A section of the A303 will be closed overnight for more than a month while resurfacing works take place.
The work that National Highways will carry out will close the A303 between the Deptford Junction and Longhedge Roundabout on Monday, 31st March.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, 2nd May.
There is also expected to be a weekend road closure as part of the works from 9 pm on a Friday until 6 am on Monday. The date of the weekend closure's date has yet to be announced.
There will be diversions to move traffic away from the A303 during the works, whilst access will still be available directly from the A303 during the works.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles), and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 29 March 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
