Midfielder, Aaron McCreadie has left Salisbury FC to pursue a career in coaching in Dubai.
McCreadie, 22, who had been at the Ray Mac for his second spell after re-joining from North Leigh in February 2023, went on to be an important member of the team promoted from the Southern League at the end of last season.
On his departure from the club, Brian Dutton said, “I would like to thank Aaron for his efforts whilst at Salisbury.
“He was our first permanent signing at the Football Club. We had to work really hard convincing him that Salisbury would be a better Club for his development and personal success than his local side, North Leigh, who he captained.
“We promised him that if we could sign the players we wanted to, then we could turn the Football Club around, and instead of fighting relegation, we would fight for the title and promotions.
“Aaron was a catalyst for the new Salisbury Team and the success we had; he was a player who embodied 110% effort and commitment. We all want to wish him well with his new life out in Dubai and good luck.”
