The winner of the 2023 Mayor's Christmas Card competition has been revealed.
This year, the Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Atiqul Hoque, held a Christmas card competition, inviting local children up to the age of 13 to design his annual Christmas card.
The entries were judged by The Mayor, with the theme for this year being ‘Salisbury, the City of Stars’.
The winner was Martha, aged 7, for her entry “Rainbow Christmas”.
Cllr Hoque said, “Well done to everyone who took part in my Christmas card competition. It was hard choosing a winner as there were many fantastic entries.
"We are lucky to have so many talented young people in Salisbury. Congratulations to Martha for being this year's winner - her entry stood out because of her creative use of colour and imagination.”
The Christmas cards will be sent locally and to overseas destinations such as our Sister Cities in Maryland, USA and the Twinning Cities of both Xanten and Saintes.
