This evening's (27th January) Wiltshire derby between Salisbury and Chippenham Town at the Ray Mac has been postponed.
Following a pitch inspection this morning and the recent heavy rain, the game has been postponed.
Salisbury FC said on social media, "Following this morning’s pitch inspection, the referee has postponed this evening’s fixture against Chippenham due to an unplayable surface.
"All free match tickets issued for tonight’s game will remain valid for the rescheduled fixture. We’ll confirm the new date in due course. Thank you for your understanding."
Brian Dutton's attention will now turn to the away trip to Dorking Wanderers on Saturday (31st January), with kick-off at 3 pm.
For those unable to travel to Dorking, full live commentary will be on Salisbury Radio Sport from 2:45 pm.
