Police in Salisbury have confirmed to Salisbury Radio that a man has died after the road incident on Fisherton Street earlier today.
A 64-year-old man has been pronounced dead following the road traffic collision on Fisherton Street earlier today.
His next of kin have been informed.
Our thoughts are with them at this time.
After many comments online and in shops and stores around the city today, Police are asking that his family's privacy is respected and that images of the incident are not shared on social media.
Fisherton Street remains closed at present (5pm) to allow for further investigations to be carried out.
