A man has been charged in connection with a public order offence in Salisbury.
Edward Earle, 39, of Osprey Road, Warminster, has been charged with section 5 public order, section 4A racially aggravated public order and assault on an emergency worker.
This is in connection with an incident at Chic-O-Land, New Canal, Salisbury, in the early hours of July 5th last year.
He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on April 25.
Investigating officer PC Taylor said: “I am glad that the Crown Prosecution Service takes public order offences and assaults on police officers seriously.
“We do not tolerate assaults on our police officers when they are going about their normal duties.”
