Wiltshire Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was assaulted by 12 men in Salisbury city centre.
At approximately 1am on the 9th January, the young man was in Catherine Street when approximately 12 men started punching him.
The victim sustained a black eye and head injury. When his friends attempted to intervene, they too were punched and kicked multiple times.
The offenders are believed to be aged between 20 and 30.
The police are urging witnesses to come forward. Photos of those the police would like to speak to in connection with the incident are below.
