Wiltshire Police say an investigation has been launched after a man died in Coombe Bissett yesterday (4th January).
A police spokesperson said, "At around 3pm, we received a report of a man in his 50s being found with serious injuries inside a property in Thorne Close.
"Officers and emergency services attended the scene but despite their best efforts, the man was declared dead at the scene.
"His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them.
"A cordon was set up at the property, and following enquiries, a woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"She has been taken into custody for questioning.
"A scene remains in place at the property while officers continue to investigate the circumstances."
