The detectorist who found a ring on the coast east of Mudeford Quay in Dorset is trying to locate the woman who lost it.
Darren Wiles, a detectorist based in Bournemouth, responded to social media posts in the area after a ring was lost on the beach on Friday, 11th April.
The woman who lost the ring was helped in the search by a local lady named Carol. Carol gave her number to the woman from Salisbury, but she hasn't heard from her since.
It is believed the lady who lost the ring was out with her dog at the time. Her name is also thought to be Ros/Roz.
Detectorist Darren found the ring later that evening using his metal detecting equipment and would like to reunite it with its owner.
If you are the owner or think you know the owner, please contact us here at Salisbury Radio, either by emailing hello@salisburyradio.co.uk or calling 01722 433733. We can put you in contact with Darren, who has the ring.
