This Saturday (31st May 2025) from midday as part of the Salisbury International Arts Festival, families are invited to the Arts Centre from some 'fiesta fun'.
A 'fabulous Family Fiesta' celebrates Salisbury Arts Centre’s 50th birthday this weekend.
The grounds of the Arts Centre on Bedwin Street will be brought to life with an array of activities for all ages. Organisers say, "lots will be on offer including craft activities, workshops, live music, food vendors and ice cream, so bring the whole family along to join the party".
Activities all day
- Live music stage, featuring local and young musicians
- Pagoda Duo playing with Dance Six-0
- BBQ by Charter 1227
- Bar and refreshments all day
- Craft activities from Wiltshire Scrapstore, Michele Millidge and Salisbury Museum
- Under 5’s Sensory Area
- Baby Yoga and Dance Workshops from Panthera Dance
- Drumming Workshops from Kaya Drumming
- Face painting
The event will also feature a 'rat-astic' look into refuse and recycling. Young people will be able 'rummage through the rubble with Bin Rat to discover where all our rubbish goes. The puppet-performance makes for an entertaining and eccentric show for family audiences using live music and general silliness to talk about the important issue of recycling.
The event is free to attend and is suitable for all ages.
