Salisbury FC say they are delighted to announce that talented left-back Richard McIntyre has signed on for his first permanent stint at the Ray Mac after a successful loan period last season for the Whites.
The 19-year-old made 15 appearances during the 2025/26 season, playing 90+ minutes on eight occasions in what was initially just a one-month loan that turned into a season-long one back in March.
McIntyre grew into the side as the campaign went on, showcasing his relentless energy and threatening crosses from the left flank.
He secured his first attacking contribution of the season in the final minute of home league action against Horsham last season, setting up a 90+4 minute winner for Nathan Odokonyero.
Whites Assistant Manager, Callum Hart, said, “We're really happy that Rich decided to come to Salisbury permanently from Oxford United. He's obviously a player we know really well from his two stints previously with us. He's another player who is eager to develop and learn. In his short time with us, it was clear to see the attacking qualities he can bring from left-back. He won't need any introduction to the Whites faithful, but I'm sure they will all be delighted to see him in the shirt again."
