Folk Festival returns for its second year

Salisbury Folk Festival

The Salisbury Folk Festival is back in the Cathedral Close for 2025.

This year's annual music event hosted by the Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire museum will be on Saturday 7th June.

Organisers say the event will feature 'even more local folk acts for you to enjoy'. The 12-hour event begins at 11am at tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for children.

This is the event's second year and organisers are welcoming back some returning local folk acts from last year's event, such as Fly Yeti Fly, Sean Rice and Ukelele Vagbond.

Newcomers to this year's event include Ribble Music and David Mitchell.

Organisers add, "Set in our picturesque walled garden, you can take in the amazing views whilst listening to some fabulous folk music. 

"The daytime performances will go on until 6:30pm, before our 'Evening Sessions' kick off at 7pm. 

"From 7.00pm until 11.00pm, you can watch the sun set over the River Avon to the sound of our beautiful folk acts".

The event will also feature a range of local artisan stallholders selling their wares with food and drink available all day.

Visitors are reminded that there is no parking at the museum. We they cannot permit dogs, other than service dogs) in their garden.
