Wiltshire Police have charged five people in connection with an investigation into night poaching.
The incidents took place on January 29th of this year near Cholderton, Amesbury, when a group of men wearing camouflage and accompanied by dogs were sighted in a field and reported to the police.
The following people have been charged with offences under the Night Poaching Act 1828:
Sean McWhinnie, 44, of Lizard Close, Southampton
William Goddard, 41, of Norbury Gardens, Hamble-Le-Rice, Hampshire
Billy Goddard, 21, of Norbury Gardens, Hamble-Le-Rice, Hampshire
Jesse Dennard, 26, of Darenth Wood Road, Darenth, Kent
Riley Dennard, 18, of Billet Hill, Ash, Kent
McWhinnie, Jesse, and Riley Dennard are due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on July 23rd. William and Billy Goddard are due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on August 8th.
