A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a man in Longhedge on Saturday, May 3rd.
Alfie Miller, of Willow Drive in Durrington, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody.
Miller is now due to appear at Winchester Crown Court tomorrow (7th May).
Darren Hughes, 52, was found deceased inside a property in Davies Road. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
It is requested that their privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.
People are likely to see an increased police presence in the area for several days.
