This Halloween, the streets of Salisbury come alive with the eerie glow of costumed revellers, beats and the clink of shot glasses.
Taking place on Friday, October 31, the first of its kind … Salisbury Halloween City Pub Crawl, aptly titled "Crawl of the Damned," is set to take over the city for a night of devilish delight and adult trick-or-treating like no other.
Celebrating Halloween landing on a Friday this year, the crawl invites locals and visitors alike to experience the city’s most beloved independent pubs in full fright-night fashion. From The Dust Hole to The Coach & Horses, The Winchester Gate, Sips, and The Village Free House, each stop promises something wickedly fun.
The twist?
At every pub/bar, brave participants will flip a beer mat to determine their fate: Trick (sour shot) or Treat (sweet shot). It’s all part of the "sweet or sour shots" challenge that turns this crawl into a truly interactive Halloween adventure.
“This is Trick or Treating for grown-ups...” said Sarah Hughes from Dark Revolution. “We strongly encourage everyone taking part to wear a Halloween costume. The more outrageous, the better! You’ll find live music, themed drinks, incredible food, and a party atmosphere that’s been hauntingly missed. Local independent pubs and bars are coming together for a united Halloween celebration, the first event of its kind in Salisbury, and definitely not the last!"
Adding to the excitement, Dark Revolution Brewery will mark the occasion with the exclusive launch of ‘Bark at The Moon’, a limited-edition Halloween brew available at participating venues during the event.
Whether you’ve been celebrating all Halloween week or are just starting your spooky season, Crawl of the Damned is your grand finale. Expect live music, eerie surprises, epic people watching, and an atmosphere that screams Halloween in the best way.
Entry is free. Surprises await at every stop. Prizes for best dressed and those that survive the crawl will be entered into a prize draw to win amazing prizes, including;
- A brewery tour and beer tasting for 4
- £50 food and drink voucher at The Coach & Horses
- A night away for up to 4 people with Bustopia.
To find out more, pick up a leaflet at any participating venues.
