Country Fayre Returns in Support of Stars Appeal

Berwick St John Country Fair is returning for 2026 in support of the Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital’s Charity.

We are invited to enjoy a weekend full of fun activities for all ages at Berwick St John Country Fayre this September whilst supporting the Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital’s Charity.

The fayre takes place over two days from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday 20, and features steam engines, vintage tractors, a dog show, rural crafts, beer and tea tents, heavy horses and classic cars. Plus, a live auction held by Southern Counties Auctioneers.

Ahead of the main fayre event, there will be an evening of live music on Friday, September 18, with a beer tent, 6 pm to 11.30 pm.

The biennial event attracts huge crowds from across the country and even further afield. It is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers, with the local community and village residents getting involved.

The money raised will help the Stars Appeal towards the £ 2 million it aims to raise this year to fund projects across Salisbury Hospital. These include new equipment such as a mammogram machine for the Breast Unit, enhancements to buildings, and ongoing projects across the hospital, including support for people with cancer, a dedicated play assistant on the Children’s Unit, and Stars Appeal Wi-Fi.

Gates open from 10 am. The fayre is located between Berwick St John village and the A30, SP7 0EX. Entry is by donation, with all profits going to the Stars Appeal. There is also a raffle.
