This summer, Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm is celebrating 40 years of family fun, unforgettable memories, and the conservation of rare breeds.
Since first opening its gates in 1985, the farm has become a beloved destination for generations of families, welcoming visitors to meet its charming animals, roam the beautiful countryside, enjoy food and drink, including their very own award-winning Bluestone Vineyards English Sparkling Wine, and create lasting memories.
Over the years, the farm has also had the joy and privilege of hosting hundreds of couples’ special wedding days, making it a place of treasured moments for so many.
Now, it’s time to celebrate FOUR DECADES of joy, learning, and community spirit in a big, exciting way!
As part of a year-long celebration, the farm has announced what they promise will be a spectacular 40th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, 27th June, an exclusive, after-hours event packed with music, food, games, and classic family fun!
From 5pm to 8pm, the farm will come alive with the sounds of laughter and celebration! Guests of all ages can:
- Dance and sing along to live music
- Bounce the evening away on a giant bouncy castle
- Spend time with their rare breed animals
- Indulge in delicious food and refreshing drinks
- Look out for a special guest appearance
It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer and make magical memories with family and friends! You can reserve your spaces at choldertonrarebreedsfarm.com
“This anniversary is incredibly special to us,” says Sophie McConnell, Managing Director. “We’ve been lucky enough to watch generations of visitors grow up here, and now they’re bringing their own children. It’s a truly beautiful full-circle moment. We’re honoured to still be at the heart of the community after all these years.”
Cholderton are inviting everyone to be part of their story. They are asking that you share your favourite photos and memories from the past four decades! Visitors will love seeing their photos displayed on special memory boards and nostalgic exhibits throughout the farm.
