The Chalke History Festival will return from June 22 to 28, 2026, bringing a major programme of talks, performances and immersive experiences to Wiltshire.
Held near Salisbury, the festival attracts leading historians, authors and public figures from across the UK and beyond.
This year’s headline names include Mary Beard, Alexander Armstrong, Anthony Scaramucci, Harriet Walter and Alan Titchmarsh.
A new feature for 2026 will see playwright David Hare headline the first “Tom Stoppard Conversation”, celebrating the legacy of the late Tom Stoppard.
