Boiler Room Records, an independent record shop in Cross Keys Shopping Centre, has announced a special in-store celebration on Saturday, 18th October for National Album Day 2025.

Now marking its 8th year, National Album Day is a nationwide celebration of the album as an art form, a chance for music fans to rediscover their favourite records, and honour the artists who make them.

This year’s theme is all about rock music, shining a spotlight on the genre’s most iconic albums.

Exclusive vinyl releases

To mark the occasion, Boiler Room Records will be stocking an exclusive range of limited edition National Album Day vinyl releases, reissues and special pressings, available to pre-order online and to purchase in-store on the day.

Highlights include the 50th anniversary edition of Queen’s A Night at the Opera, limited-edition reissues from legendary bands like Sex Pistols and The Jesus and Mary Chain, plus contemporary releases from artists such as Liam Gallagher and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Join the celebration

Music lovers are invited to join the celebrations from 9 am onwards, browse exclusive vinyl releases, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Salisbury’s thriving record community.

The Boiler Room Records team will be on hand throughout the day, sharing recommendations, chatting about favourite albums, and talk all things rock.
