Wiltshire Police have seized a motorbike after reports from local residents that an off-road bike was ridden across fields near Harnham.
Officers from Salisbury's Neighbourhood Policing team and other specialist officers attended the scene on Saturday afternoon (21st January) and located the person riding the bike.
They were riding the bike on the byway and across farmland without permission and were not wearing any protective equipment.
When the rider saw the police, they dumped the bike and ran away from the scene. Police seized the bike and then conducted a search for the person. They were, however, unable to find the male rider.
