Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Salisbury are appealing for witnesses.
At approximately 10.15pm on Friday 29th July 2022, a man in his 20s was walking home when he was confronted by three men and a woman on the bridge in St Nicholas Road.
The victim was asked for money and then punched in the face whilst one of the other men attempted to pull his bag from him.
Fortunately, the victim managed to escape and ran to the Rose and Crown pub to call for assistance.
The suspects are described as:
Male 1 – aged in his 30s, bald head, wearing shorts and a long-sleeved top
Male 2 – aged in his 20s, approximately 5 ft 7, of slim build, wearing a black cap
Male 3 – aged in his mid-20s, of medium build and bare-chested.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said, "Enquiries are currently ongoing and we would urge any witnesses to the incident to get in touch.
