Officers are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Salisbury earlier this week.
At approximately 11pm on Tuesday 26th July 2022, a man in his 20s was pulled from his vehicle in Elm Grove Road after a man accused him of nearly running him over.
The driver was punched numerous times during the assault. According to the police, he thankfully did not sustain any serious injuries during the incident.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said, "Enquiries have been ongoing and a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
"It is believed that there were witnesses to the incident who may be able to help with our enquiries who have not yet spoken to police. If this was you, or if you have CCTV or dash cam footage which may be relevant to the investigation, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220078887.
"Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
