Officers investigating an incident which occurred on the Old Sarum estate in Salisbury are appealing for witnesses.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.30pm on 1st July 2022.
It is believed a man drove a vehicle over a pavement and into the skate park, before shouting aggressively and making threats towards children in the park.
According to the police, he is reported to have grabbed a 15-year-old girl to the neck and pulled her to the floor.
The man then got back into his vehicle and drove off, narrowly missing hitting a 15-year-old boy as he did so.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, "Fortunately, nobody was injured but the incident would have understandably been upsetting for those in the park at the time.
"We’d like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to police.
