The Salisbury Hospice Charity’s annual Corporate Gala Quiz, held last Friday at the Salisbury Arts Centre, raised in excess of £6,000.
The event, sponsored by Trethowans Solicitors in partnership with Salisbury Radio, exceeded all expectations, thanks to local businesses coming together for a fun and competitive evening.
The Quizmaster, Salisbury Radio's Andy Munns, led participants through eight entertaining yet challenging rounds, covering a wide range of topics, including 80’s culture, sport, general knowledge, and a unique music round.
The evening also included a delicious fish and chip supper, supplied by Britz Fish & Chips, a raffle, and an auction.

Jeremy Lamond from Woolley & Wallis Salesrooms served as the charity auctioneer.
Salisbury Hospice Charity has also announced that the auction lot for the “Sell Your Home for FREE” kindly donated by Northwood Estate Agents, has been extended until 31st October. The highest bidder will only pay their winning bid. A reserve has been placed on the auction lots of £1,000. To bid, please visit our website for full details: www.salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk/auction/
It's also been announced that next year’s Corporate Gala Quiz is scheduled for Friday, October 17th, 2025. Interested businesses are encouraged to reserve their tables by emailing Louise at Louise@salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk.
The team thanked sponsors Trethowans Solicitors, in partnership with Salisbury Radio, the quiz round sponsors, Wiltshire Creative, volunteers, and all those who donated prizes and supported the event. Everyone came together to raise significant funds for Salisbury Hospice, making the evening a tremendous success.
Louise Compton, Corporate Fundraiser, shared her thoughts on the event: "The Corporate Gala Quiz was a great success, and it was inspiring to see so many new local businesses participate this year.
"We’re incredibly proud to have raised a significant amount for Salisbury Hospice. I want to sincerely thank everyone for their unwavering support, generous donations, and commitment to making the night a success. I strongly encourage businesses to secure their spot early for next year’s Corporate Gala Quiz on Friday, 17th October!"
