On Saturday 4th December a group of Santas will run, walk, skip or sleigh through the streets of Salisbury all in aid of charity.
The Santa Fun Run in aid of Naomi House and Jacksplace kicks off outside Salisbury Cathedral at 8.30am with a brisk and festive Zumba warmup.
The 5k fun run will see participants dressed as Santa Claus to raise vital funds for Naomi House and Jacksplace who support life-limited children and young adults who use local hospices.
Participants can walk, skip, jump or dance the Santa fun run, all you need to do is complete the 5k course in a festive cheery manner.
The circular run around Salisbury will finish back at the Cathedral where participants will be greeted with a round of Santa-plause and covered in snow from a snow cannon to celebrate their achievement.
Charlotte Patrick, Senior Fundraiser at Naomi House and Jacksplace said, “We are delighted to be bringing our flagship fun run to the streets of Salisbury. Being able to stage such a popular and high profile event in the centre of Salisbury is wonderful, and we are indebted to our many partners for helping to make this happen.
“Our Santa’s will have a very merry time and we are so very grateful to them for doing their bit to support life-limited and life-threatened children and young people on good days, difficult days and last days".
So grab your running shoes, get on your Santa suit, and sign up for the Salisbury Santa Fun Run.
Registration includes your very own Santa suit.
