Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) has announced that Indies Week will be returning this week, from 1st to 7th July 2026.
Indies Week is a citywide initiative dedicated to celebrating and supporting the vibrant community of independent businesses in Salisbury.
Throughout the week and the wider month of July, residents and visitors are encouraged to show their support for local independent businesses by prioritising them in their shopping and engaging in the City of Independents Campaign and its content.
As part of the celebrations, Salisbury BID have commissioned local artist Michele Millidge to hand-illustrate 70 independent business windows.
Michele Millidge’s beautiful window illustrations are a testament to the creativity and vitality of Salisbury’s indie community. Each window features bespoke illustrations and a 'love Salisbury indies' message. These artworks not only enhance the city's aesthetic appeal but also serve as a visual narrative of the independent spirit that defines Salisbury.
