Salisbury Hospice Charity has updated the total raised by the Fire and Glass Walk event earlier this year.
Over 80 brave people walked on glass and fire, or both, in Guildhall Square in Salisbury in, raising a tremendous amount of money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Fundraising figures have topped £35,000, vital funds that will go towards the hospice's running costs.
The event was run by Scott and his team from UK Firewalks, and there was firey entertainment courtesy of Jasmine and Cordy from Steamship Circus.
Abi Blake from the charity said: “We are so proud of all our participants for showing great bravery on behalf of Salisbury Hospice. This amazing total is a complete testament to them and their incredible fundraising efforts. A huge thank you to all who fundraised and also our kind sponsor Nucleus.”
In total 83 people took part, with the youngest participant 16 years old and the eldest 78.
A large crowd gathered as the participants went through the briefing. They were given instructions first on how to tackle the glass walk.
Each person walked the glass slowly but confidently before having their feet swept to make sure no shards were remaining on their feet.
The crowd grew even more in time for the fire walk as more people joined in cheering on the participants.
The average fire temperature was measured, exceeding 540 degrees, and the long line of around 80 people walked bravely across the hot coals.
