Gallery 4, Salisbury Library (upstairs), 3 – 28 November 2026, closed Sundays

Each artists presents their vision of our surroundings and their understanding of the world.
Through her whimsical illustrations Anna Shuttlewood looks at the sunnier, kinder world inhibited by her friendly and naïve characters. Anna is a local children’s book author and illustrator, her work is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s day.
Diliana Nikolova works in the sphere of satirical painting. In her painting endeavours the main subject is the world and the human in it, the human’s existence & faith. Original and witty, Diliana’s art reflects on the paradoxical union of the sad & the funny world.
Chris Lock is largely a self-taught artist who still finds great inspiration in the changing moods and colours of the landscape through the seasons. Spending time in the great outdoors is all part of the fun: in the spring and summer months, getting up early enough to be out on a hillside to capture the first light of day can be a challenge, but well worth the effort when rewarded with a magnificent sunrise over a mist-filled valley.
Artist and writer Ija Broka uses art and words to share what she notices between her inner path and the outer world. Ija is showing a collection of bright and bold pieces.
As well as showing his impressive World Map made out of thousands of individual slices of wood, natural Artist Zac Newham delves into a world of play with "Wood & Roll" - a giant interactive marble run challenge, which will be placed right in the middle of the gallery. Come and see if you can overcome every obstacle and guide your ball all the way to the end — without letting it touch the ground!
