Farley Music Festival the well-established classical music week, runs from June 10th to June 15th, 2025, at All Saint's Church, Church Road, Farley, Salisbury SP51AH.
This year the line up reflects the truly international nature of the festival week. Many are just at the point of breaking out into the world arena.
Tuesday 10th June (7 pm) Nicholas Walker (Piano) our musical director and Ruta Vaytkute (Flute) will present Bach's Sonata in E minor and Schubert's vistuosic variations on "Trockne Blumen"
Wednesday 11th June (7pm) Mihayi Berecz (Piano) will play Bach's Partita No 6 in E minor and Beethoven's variations on a Theme of Diabelli
Thursday 12th June (7pm) Joanna Krauze (Piano and Organ) will play Bach's French suite No 5 in G major and his French Overture in B minor and Beethoven's Sonata in A flat Major
Friday 13th June (7pm) Isabelle Oehmichen (Piano) will play pieces including Schubert's Klaverstuke in E flat major, Mozart;s Sonata in F major and four romantic pieces by Bortkiewicz
Saturday 14th June (7 pm) Our Acclaimed Opera Gala returns with Julia Klimek (Piano), Oksana Lepska (Soprano), Aleksandra Kenenova (Mezzo-Soprano), Martins Smaukstelis (Tenor) and Edwin Kaye (Bass). This truly international group will offer a variety of the best loved arias.
Sunday 15th June (6pm) Evensong with the Choirs of Bishop Wordsworth and Godolphin.
The sermon will be given by Jeremy Davies, Retired Precentor of Salisbury Cathedral.
